  • Owner & General Manager

    Matt Gordner, founder of Gordner’s Gardeners, has been working in residential landscaping since 2011. Raised in Westfield, NJ, Matt’s passion and attention to detail was inspired by his father, who always took great pride in their lawn and garden. Growing up, Matt saw how much joy his family got from time spent together in their yard, and he is continually driven to help recreate that feeling for others.

    With a degree in Theatre and Scenic Engineering from the College of Charleston, Matt brings a sharp eye for both structure and aesthetics, ensuring each project is thoughtfully designed and expertly built.

  • Project Foreman

    Brad is originally from Westfield, NJ. He graduated from Westfield High School in 2014 and Fairleigh Dickinson University in 2019, where he played four years of varsity baseball and earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. Brad has been working with Matt for almost a decade, and while his formal background is not in landscape design, he has been a highly engaged student of the craft since beginning. Brad brings a meticulous eye to project management.

    “I enjoy this work because it allows me to be outdoors and help homeowners build their dream yards. I really enjoy meeting new customers as well as keeping up with our regular clients. Regardless of what we do, the work is always rewarding at the end of the day.”
